Mother's day comes around like... every year. Click To Tweet And we don’t get younger! By now my mom is a proud grandmother and what else could I do but make her a sign with this cute saying on it??? Nothing, I just had to. The words I put on the board are: Some Of Our Greatest Blessings Call Me Grandma.
I find that we get so caught up with our own life, that we forget to appreciate our mothers more and more. The older you get the more you realize how much your parents have done for you.
This was a simple DIY that brought happy smiles to our mother’s faces… who doesn’t like hanging up pictures of their grand kids… like who?! There’s nothing like a proud grandmother.
How I did it:
I simply hired my hubby to glue together two pallet woods. Together they are 11 inches wide and 16 inches in height. Then I used a brown wood friendly spray paint and gave the pallet wood one coating. Next I wrote the text on the wood and went over with chalk paint. Lastly, you hammer two nails on each side and attach jute twine from one end to the other. Finally use some small clothing pins (from the dollar store) to hang up your pictures.
