Fall is here! Around here where I’m living, winter is actually almost here… we always have WAY too short of a fall and spring, and they just happen to be my favorites *sigh*. Oh well, I am thankful for the bit that we have, even though you can feel the frosty wind already perching in.
Anyways, I have this cute fall wreath that I had made for you. Unfortunately, these are all the pictures I have…(blogger fail), but I’m sure you’re fine with that. Or you’ll just have to be.
So, let’s get started!!
What you need:
- 1 Wreath (I bought mine at the dollar store, but you can find a similar one here)
- Fall colored leaves
- First letter of your last name
- Burlap Ribbon
- Lace Ribbon
- Hot Glue Gun/Paint/Scissors
Step 1: Take the wooden letter and paint it a brown with a bit of white mixed in.
Step 2: While the letter is drying, take the leaves and sort them from color. This is going to help you in the decorating process. Then, start placing the leaves on the left side of the wreath in the arrangement you like.
Step 3: Add a lace and Burlap bow at around 1/4 down of your leaves. I just swung the ribbon around the wreath and did a simple bow. (sorry, for some reason I added the burlap bow at the end)
Step 4: Keep hot gluing your leaves until about halfway to the bottom. Attach your letter with some hot glue on the opposite side.
Step 5: Enjoy your wreath!
