This is probably one of the easiest (and fastest!) DIY’s I’ve ever made. I was really surprised at how fast I was finished. It definitely makes a huge difference in your child’s closet. I totally love it! This way I can be sure to see all the clothes that fit my baby at certain times. And the best part, this absolutely cost me nothing! Let’s see how cheap you can pull it off 😉
What you need:
- ribbon (I used the ribbon that is wrapped around blankets that you buy)
- construction paper of any color you like (I used a rustic brown)
- a black marker
- hot glue gun
You start off by cutting yourself four even pieces of ribbon. Make sure that the ribbon is long enough that you can make a knot around the clothes stick thing (whatever that’s called). Mine were about 10 1/2 inches long and it was just perfect.
Then I used a tape roll to make my even circles (yes I cannot draw perfect circles like that, who can?). I guess you can find anything around the house to fit your width of ribbon.
I cut those circles out, and wrote the months on them (0-3,3-6,6-9.9-12).
Then you just hot glue the months on the ribbon and viola!
Finally, you just fasten them on the you know what I mean and there you go! Some easy, cheap and super fast clothes dividers that every mom is looking for!
