Thrift Store Makeover #3 Vintage Note Pad

BeFunky CollageThis note pad I purchased for exactly 20 cents! I think it’s super cute how it turned out and would totally add to a vintage style kitchen! I took the note pad apart, spray painted everything white and then went over the leaves with black paint. Then I drew some leaves on the note holder part and exchanged the ol’ looking blue ribbon to some jute twine, Don’t forget to add some rough looking edges to give it that vintage look. There ya are!

Thrift Store Makeover #2

BeFunky Collage.jpgI gathered this tray for $1 at the thrift store. I consider this another great find. It was so simple to redo and it looks like it was bought new! I love how the heart adds to it.

This is pretty much a one step DIY. You just take everything apart and spray paint it. Then you put it back together, add your pictures and a heart. That’s it already!

This is great to use as a tray or even hang it on your wall for a modern frame!

Thrift Store Makeover #1

Thrift Store Makeover 1I had this awesome find at our thrift store, which only cost me 50 cents! When I saw it, I knew exactly what I was going to do with it, and I did! It was so simple and looks super cute!

I first took the straw stuff off and sanded the green off the big hearts and the 3 small hearts that were attached to the straw.

Then, I took some white spray paint and painted it white. After about 20 minutes, I took the small hearts and arranged them where I liked them to be. By then they weren’t dry all the way so they stuck on it really well!

Now, I took some ribbon that I had left over and made a bow out of it. I arranged it where I liked it and hot glued it on.

Just cut off the ribbon to the length you want and there you are! A cute addition to your decor 🙂

Put it by your kitchen window or hang it beside a frame 🙂
