Hi guys, Need a quick and not too expensive thank-you gift? Then you're at the right place! Click To TweetThis DIY Thank-You Flowers gift cost me less than $5 and was done in about 5 minutes! Keep reading to see how I did it.
We all have a time in our life where people help you out WAY more than you expect or ever hoped for. That time hit me as well. When I was expecting our first child, I had my family make me a BUNCH of frozen meals that we are still eating… and she is 5 months already! I was so grateful and happy that I just ad to return the favor in some way. Actually, in any way. This idea was a great little thank-you gift for their hard work that did not break our small budgets!
What you need:
- Flower Pot
- Jute Twine
- Small Construction Paper
- Pen or Marker
- Hot Glue Gun
First you take your flower pot and measure the burlap around it. I got my flower pot for $3.99 at Walmart.
Then you hot glue the burlap all around the flower pot. My burlap piece was a bit too long for the small pot so I overlapped it at the top. It adds a nice touch to it.
This is how I glued the back.
Now you take the Jute Twine and tie a bow around the pot.
Your last step is to cut out a small, long strip from the construction paper, write thank-you or a little note on it and stick it in the flowers!
